Aurelio Quilino helped the player get up and apologised. After 6 played minutes Encarale a la gordita got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Quilino. After 7 minutes, Demarcus Andersen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fenerbahçe and the Encarale a la gordita players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tuncer İribaş in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillermo Paz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evren Tanfer got free with Guillermo Paz in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yıldırım Yaman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Weather, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Aurelio Quilino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 played minutes, Fenerbahçe's Tuncer İribaş shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guillermo Paz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fenerbahçe reached it. Tuncer İribaş received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guillermo Paz came out and tried to block the shot, but Tuncer İribaş slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 31st minute. Oğuzalp Ak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Guillermo Paz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Fenerbahçe booed when Encarale a la gordita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Berenguer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Paz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aras Daman in the 38th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uğurcan Oğuzalp during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Fenerbahçe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uğurcan Oğuzalp to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Encarale a la gordita's Teobaldo Orlanda got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute of the match Tuncer İribaş shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guillermo Paz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Encarale a la gordita's goal looked a bit too open when Evren Tanfer came free, but Guillermo Paz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Encarale a la gordita's Guillermo Paz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Encarale a la gordita from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Guillermo Paz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuncer İribaş in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe's Demarcus Andersen got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute Aras Daman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Paz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Encarale a la gordita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Lekubegi to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Encarale a la gordita's goal looked a bit too open when Aras Daman came free, but Guillermo Paz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
