Cesar Teofilio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Franco Albanesi made a huge save. Cesar Teofilio might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franco Albanesi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesar Teofilio ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Teofilio in the 46th minute of play forced Sao Brasola's goalkeeper Franco Albanesi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sao Brasola getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Edmondo Lucentini hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Davide Di Nunzio made the kick off in the second half. Franco Albanesi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Teofilio in the 60th minute of play forced Sao Brasola's goalkeeper Franco Albanesi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sao Brasola booed when Deportivo Mandiyu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Honrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franco Albanesi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benigno Larpe went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Sao Brasola defense, Benigno Larpe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franco Albanesi. The Sao Brasola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franco Albanesi should have stopped the shot.
