The supporters of AEK FC booed when Goral Zywiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulryk Piatek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, AEK FC's Abdi Malkoçoğlu got a free kick in the 6th minute. Leszek Pruss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Stordal, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Erik Stordal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Leszek Pruss skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, AEK FC's Erik Stordal got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute Miroslaw Logewnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Finn Eidsvåg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AEK FC's Abdi Malkoçoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Goral Zywiec's Leszek Pruss proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Goral Zywiec from getting a goal against them. Leszek Pruss was a little too slow when Abdi Malkoçoğlu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind AEK FC's goalkeeper Finn Eidsvåg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leszek Pruss made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Radowit Hetman sent off a good shot on target. Leszek Pruss was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Erik Stordal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erik Stordal really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Leszek Pruss made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Radowit Hetman sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Stordal made a kick off. Leszek Pruss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Stordal in the 51st minute of the match. Leszek Pruss stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Radowit Hetman's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Leszek Pruss came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by AEK FC's Abdi Malkoçoğlu. But to his dismay, Abdi Malkoçoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdi Malkoçoğlu in the 59th minute of play forced Goral Zywiec's goalkeeper Leszek Pruss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Radowit Hetman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AEK FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goral Zywiec the free kick. Radowit Hetman hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Miroslaw Logewnik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Finn Eidsvåg made a huge save. Finn Eidsvåg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Bentkowski went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Finn Eidsvåg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Bentkowski in the 68th minute of play. Leszek Pruss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdi Malkoçoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. AEK FC's Finn Eidsvåg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save AEK FC from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute, Sebastian Bentkowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Mikolaj Iwaszko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goral Zywiec's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AEK FC the free kick. Leszek Pruss had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Erik Stordal's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Leszek Pruss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roald Djupvik in the 89th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Fryderyk Zacharzewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AEK FC's Erik Stordal couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Goral Zywiec. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AEK FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Goral Zywiec had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
