Octavian Bogdănescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Esiquio in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Augustin Nechifor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Nataniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Costin Iorgu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnulfo Nataniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Iorgu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cachiyuyo EAS getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Modesto Mogel hit a great ball.

FC Steaua Pildesti's Octavian Bogdănescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Esiquio in the 55th minute of play. When Modesto Mogel fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachiyuyo EAS's protests and gave Modesto Mogel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cachiyuyo EAS getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Modesto Mogel hit a great ball. Anier Osoitz hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Cachiyuyo EAS's attentive Ivan Drago managed to snatch the ball when Gheorghe Vlăsiu made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Gheorghe Vlăsiu got a free kick in the 69th minute. FC Steaua Pildesti's Octavian Bogdănescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Esiquio in the 70th minute of play. Costin Iorgu scored 2-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnulfo Nataniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augustin Nechifor in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnulfo Nataniel saved Cachiyuyo EAS from getting behind. Guillermo Esiquio took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavian Bogdănescu. Octavian Bogdănescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Costin Iorgu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Augustin Nechifor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
