The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Lu got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Thomas Ravelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lu in the 4th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Steve Deckkers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Ravelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Lu sped through Segmon IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thomas Ravelli. 18 minutes into the game, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Lu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomas Ravelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Lu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Thomas Ravelli made a huge save. Thomas Ravelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Deckkers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Thomas Ravelli threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Steve Deckkers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 30 minutes into the match, Segmon IF's goal looked a bit too open when Lucian Oprița came free, but Thomas Ravelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Ravelli was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristinel Andronescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 31 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ture Elg in the 37th minute of play forced ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Marcel Chiriță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Steve Deckkers dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. Segmon IF's Thomas Ravelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Segmon IF from getting a goal against them. Aron Lundberg's late challenge caught a ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aron Lundberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes Segmon IF got a freekick which was hit by Aron Lundberg. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Segmon IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steve Deckkers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. In the 75th minute Lu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Ravelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 minutes of play, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Lv Si Hao made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Ravelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristinel Andronescu struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Thomas Ravelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASF BAIA MARE -MM-. In the 83rd minute, Steve Deckkers made a precise shot to the right of Thomas Ravelli. Segmon IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-1. In the 87th minute Lv Si Hao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Ravelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Segmon IF's Erling Kling got a free kick in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Segmon IF's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Deckkers came free, but Thomas Ravelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Segmon IF's goal looked a bit too open when Cristinel Andronescu came free, but Thomas Ravelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Brolin hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Lu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomas Ravelli having to make a save. After 95 played minutes Segmon IF got a freekick which was hit by Aron Lundberg. Cristinel Andronescu took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Ravelli. Thomas Ravelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ASF BAIA MARE -MM- had played much better football throughout.
