Thomas Ravelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steve Deckkers, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. If Cristinel Andronescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Ravelli came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Steve Deckkers. But to his dismay, Steve Deckkers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Thomas Ravelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Deckkers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Ravelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristinel Andronescu in the 23rd minute of the match. Thomas Ravelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Deckkers in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Hubert Eklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Segmon IF's Thomas Ravelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Andronescu in the 28th minute of play. After 33 played minutes Segmon IF got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Van de Wal. Ion Cucerzan, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Steve Deckkers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Thomas Ravelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 37 played minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Lucrețiu Arotăriței. 41 minutes into the game, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Gabriel Chiriloaie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomas Ravelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Thomas Ravelli came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Steve Deckkers. But to his dismay, Steve Deckkers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Segmon IF's Thomas Ravelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Andronescu in the 47th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Chiriloaie in the 49th minute of play forced Segmon IF's goalkeeper Thomas Ravelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Segmon IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ASF BAIA MARE -MM- were winning 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgar Ferm to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Ture Elg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Chiriță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 played minutes Segmon IF got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Henriksson. After having played for 58 minutes, Steve Deckkers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Steve Deckkers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thomas Ravelli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Thomas Ravelli was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gabriel Chiriloaie showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 91 minute of play. After 94 played minutes Segmon IF got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Van de Wal. Thomas Ravelli was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ion Cucerzan. Thanks to some nice moves Gabriel Chiriloaie could shoot a difficult shot in the 98th minute, which Thomas Ravelli however easily saved by the left post. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
