Segmon IF's Thomas Ravelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çetin Ceviz in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the game, Baturalp Revis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ÜSTEĞMEN FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Segmon IF the free kick. After a rather tough play, ÜSTEĞMEN FK's Baturalp Revis got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute Edgar Ferm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gazi Açıkgün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamdi Sökmensu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Ravelli having to interfere. Thomas Ravelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baturalp Revis in the 13th minute of play. Erling Kling charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erling Kling the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Segmon IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erling Kling to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Segmon IF's goal looked a bit too open when Hamdi Sökmensu came free, but Thomas Ravelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Segmon IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hamdi Sökmensu was slow to take the kick. During this time ÜSTEĞMEN FK's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to ÜSTEĞMEN FK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Basri Namık hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Henriksson in the 27th minute of play forced ÜSTEĞMEN FK's goalkeeper Gazi Açıkgün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ÜSTEĞMEN FK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Çetin Ceviz hit a great ball. Gazi Açıkgün was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Delfim Coutinho. Thomas Ravelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çağlayan Çağlar in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match ÜSTEĞMEN FK got a corner. Segmon IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hamdi Sökmensu ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Hamdi Sökmensu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thomas Ravelli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 41 minutes into the match, Hamdi Sökmensu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Ravelli. Segmon IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hamdi Sökmensu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gazi Açıkgün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Ferm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hubert Eklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Gazi Açıkgün made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ture Elg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Segmon IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ture Elg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gazi Açıkgün breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Ferm made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Delfim Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Segmon IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delfim Coutinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of ÜSTEĞMEN FK booed when Segmon IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Henriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delfim Coutinho was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thomas Ravelli was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hamdi Sökmensu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 65 minute of play. After some careless play in the Segmon IF defense, Çağlayan Çağlar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomas Ravelli. The Segmon IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Ravelli should have stopped the shot. In the 74th match minute, ÜSTEĞMEN FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ergin Eronat to maneuver through the defense. Delfim Coutinho, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 76th minute Hamdi Sökmensu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Ravelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute Ture Elg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gazi Açıkgün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Çağlayan Çağlar notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Segmon IF's Thomas Ravelli. Thomas Ravelli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Segmon IF's Thomas Ravelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamdi Sökmensu in the 86th minute of play. Gazi Açıkgün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Coutinho in the 94th minute of the match. The ÜSTEĞMEN FK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
