Erasto Quizan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Coronel Durango, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. But to his dismay, Gauargi Molleda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 25th minute of the match Ciruel Academy got a corner. Playa Malvín's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mircea Balint ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 27thth minute of the game Efren Domao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ciruel Academy's Themistoklis Saveris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. José Luis Torrente's late challenge caught a Playa Malvín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Luis Torrente helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Ciruel Academy got a freekick which was hit by José Luis Torrente. Perico Rojas hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Alberino Riesco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Themistoklis Saveris. Ciruel Academy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ulryk Brzeszczak's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Erasto Quizan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Playa Malvín booed when Ciruel Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Crispin Klander didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efren Domao in the 44th minute of play forced Ciruel Academy's goalkeeper Themistoklis Saveris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 minutes of play, Ciruel Academy's Coronel Durango made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erasto Quizan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Playa Malvín's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. After a rather tough play, Ciruel Academy's Coronel Durango got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87th match minute, Ciruel Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Luis Torrente to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Coronel Durango's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erasto Quizan was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Erasto Quizan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coronel Durango in the 95th minute of play.
