In the 8th minute Tanek Barciniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fedele Schiacciacasse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanek Barciniak in the 10th minute of play forced A.S. Udinese's goalkeeper Fedele Schiacciacasse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the A.S. Udinese defense, Tanek Barciniak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fedele Schiacciacasse. The A.S. Udinese fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fedele Schiacciacasse should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the match, FC Saxon's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Maldini came free, but Luis Maestro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Saxon's Luis Maestro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Junior Maldini in the 15th minute of play. Luis Maestro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Maldini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26thth minute of the game Junior Maldini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Saxon's Luis Maestro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silvio Che hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Alexander Cagnetta was shown his second yellow card after 31 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 33rd minute, Alessandro Del Pizzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in A.S. Udinese's zone, Kamen Beluhov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fedele Schiacciacasse came out of the goal and Kamen Beluhov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, FC Saxon's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Maldini came free, but Luis Maestro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dobromir Mosiniak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Fedele Schiacciacasse made a huge save. The supporters of FC Saxon booed when A.S. Udinese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo Di Cesare didn't get a good kick on the ball.

A.S. Udinese's Ermanno Moscatelli was substituted for Junior Maldini. Fedele Schiacciacasse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanek Barciniak, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55thth minute of the game Czeslaw Sochacki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.S. Udinese's Fedele Schiacciacasse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Udinese made a substitution. Roby Donadoni replaced Maurito Tassotti. A.S. Udinese's Aurelio Di Fonzo was substituted for Olof Kjellkvist. 72 minutes into the match, FC Saxon's goal looked a bit too open when Filippo Di Cesare came free, but Luis Maestro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes of play, FC Saxon's Milosz Milko made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fedele Schiacciacasse was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luis Maestro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Di Fonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the game, FC Saxon's Milosz Milko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fedele Schiacciacasse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. When Roby Donadoni fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.S. Udinese's protests and gave Roby Donadoni a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, A.S. Udinese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roby Donadoni to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute Dobromir Mosiniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fedele Schiacciacasse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dobromir Mosiniak in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fedele Schiacciacasse saved A.S. Udinese from getting behind. Luis Maestro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurelio Di Fonzo's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. FC Saxon's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
