In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind RO Army V55's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sergiu Rădescu came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by RO Army V55's Gerasimos Patsionidis. But to his dismay, Gerasimos Patsionidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 34th match minute, RO Army V55 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasios Ntaltos to maneuver through the defense. Sergiu Rădescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sokratis Symeonakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 57 played minutes Armada got a freekick which was hit by Mihăiţă Mandache. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelian Otopeanu in the 60th minute of play forced RO Army V55's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Prodan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sergiu Rădescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 75th minute, Aurelian Otopeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Helmuth Duckadam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Bornescu in the 85th minute of play. Sergiu Rădescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sokratis Symeonakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Armada's Aurelian Otopeanu in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RO Army V55's goalie prevented a goal. Vassilis Stergioudas hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
