One of Holmkjar Hotspurs:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Underdogs:s goal. When Brito Montemayor fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Underdogs's protests and gave Brito Montemayor a yellow card for diving instead. Brito Montemayor hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The Underdogs's Jean-Paul Daalmeyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loui Bargmann in the 15th minute of play. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loui Bargmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loui Bargmann in the 18th minute of the match. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tonni Dong stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vagner Vennitze's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jean-Paul Daalmeyer firmly grabbed it by the left post. 53 minutes into the match, Gerard van den Eede had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egil Sølve. Many of Holmkjar Hotspurs's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Holmkjar Hotspurs may have spent more time on the ball, but The Underdogs were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
