The Academia Militar MZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvério Netto should have stopped the shot. Silvério Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Iurașcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 16th minute Eugen Iurașcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvério Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Eugen Iurașcu put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Silvério Netto. When Adrianinho de Salles came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Academia Militar MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrianinho de Salles couldn't finish the play. Guto Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Dedé Carneiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Philip Gallin skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aníbal Velasco in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Philip Gallin saved Stjärnblomster from getting behind. In the 26th match minute, Stjärnblomster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Fagerberg to maneuver through the defense. Philip Gallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrianinho de Salles in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Adrianinho de Salles made a precise shot to the right of Philip Gallin. Stjärnblomster's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Stjärnblomster's Steffen Kullgren was substituted for Eugen Iurașcu. 53 minutes into the match, Steffen Kullgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvério Netto. Academia Militar MZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steffen Kullgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrik Smefeldt during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Stjärnblomster getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Patrik Smefeldt hit a great ball. Adrianinho de Salles in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Philip Gallin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice moves Adrianinho de Salles could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Philip Gallin however easily saved by the left post. In the 64th match minute, Stjärnblomster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Smefeldt to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Academia Militar MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Smefeldt came free, but Silvério Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
