After a defensive mix-up in LOI's zone, Tiburcio Lidon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vahdet Uçanok came out of the goal and Tiburcio Lidon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 98 minutes into the match, LOI's Oğuzer Tun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Mejía narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Diego Polenta's late challenge caught a LOI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Polenta helped the player get up and apologised. After 99 played minutes LA LUZ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Diego Polenta. Luís Mejía took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Laurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
