Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) LOI's Vahdet Uçanok played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jernej Petrovič in the 3rd minute of play. Numan Tüzel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantin Pančur having to interfere. Vahdet Uçanok took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duško Turnšek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Jernej Petrovič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, LOI's Bonifacio Laurin got a free kick in the 16th minute. Duško Turnšek took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vahdet Uçanok. Vahdet Uçanok dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 25th minute, Rastislav Tomič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Koštomaj's late challenge caught a LOI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richard Koštomaj helped the player get up and apologised. Richard Koštomaj kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. LOI were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after HIT Gorica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alp Yaşar took the corner. LOI's Alp Yaşar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Konstantin Pančur in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vahdet Uçanok showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duško Turnšek in the 34th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Bonifacio Laurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Konstantin Pančur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. HIT Gorica's Istok Šabotić was substituted for Duško Turnšek. After 59 minutes, Sadri Tekdoğan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LOI and the HIT Gorica players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to LOI getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Sadri Tekdoğan hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes HIT Gorica got a freekick which was hit by Rastislav Tomič. The supporters of LOI booed when HIT Gorica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rastislav Tomič didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute of the match Alp Yaşar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Konstantin Pančur showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the LOI defense, Istok Šabotić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vahdet Uçanok. The LOI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vahdet Uçanok should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Numan Tüzel in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konstantin Pančur saved HIT Gorica from getting behind. In the 79th minute Şensoy Gülen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstantin Pančur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 played minutes HIT Gorica got a freekick which was hit by Zlatko Goričan. LOI's Bonifacio Laurin got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute Numan Tüzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstantin Pančur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CJ Desailly's late challenge caught a LOI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Istok Šabotić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Vahdet Uçanok made a huge save.
