After 17 minutes, Szczepan Szkarpiak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KN ZGORZELEC and the Skellerup FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute Walter Fur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Piszczor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, KN ZGORZELEC's Genaro Gattuso got a free kick in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Skellerup FC's Harry Bergø broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The throw-in from Gerhart Riising in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by KN ZGORZELEC's Szczepan Szkarpiak. Vagnar Roebel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislaw Sienkiewicz in the 58th minute of play. Skellerup FC's Vagnar Roebel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislaw Sienkiewicz in the 79th minute of play. KN ZGORZELEC's Edward Hejza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gerhart Riising, made in the 80th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislaw Sienkiewicz in the 84th minute of play forced Skellerup FC's goalkeeper Vagnar Roebel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jørgen Ebler succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 85th playminute. Emil Piszczor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jørgen Ebler in the 90th minute. A collision led to Skellerup FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play.
