The crowd rose to their feet as André Luís de Sena kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aurel Tilea. That made the score 2-0 in the 41 minute of play. Marcos da Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Aurel Tilea made a huge save. In the 47th minute, Filipe Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Gigi Câmpeanu made the kick off in the second half. Ricart Futebol Clube's André Luís de Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Liviu Sbârcea during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
