Kong Jun Zhi's late challenge caught a Hamburg Fighters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kong Jun Zhi helped the player get up and apologised. Kong Jun Zhi kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. When Alex Raţiu came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Khachatryan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Raţiu couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Khachatryan's Alex Raţiu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Manuel Stepanyan 17 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. If Alex Raţiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Alex Raţiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Jastrzembowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serge Koryan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Aschenbrenner, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Alex Raţiu struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Matthew Jastrzembowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Khachatryan. In the 37th minute, Arno Martirosyan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alex Raţiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 played minutes Hamburg Fighters got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Aschenbrenner. The audience was convinced that Alex Raţiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matthew Jastrzembowski was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 44th minute, Manuel Stepanyan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Matthew Jastrzembowski. The goal made the score 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Burkhard Niebler to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Khachatryan's Alex Raţiu got a free kick in the 51st minute. After some careless play in the Hamburg Fighters defense, Arno Martirosyan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matthew Jastrzembowski. The Hamburg Fighters fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matthew Jastrzembowski should have stopped the shot. Jakob Karhoff kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arno Martirosyan in the 57th minute of play forced Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Matthew Jastrzembowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wulf-Dieter Schwarze hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the game, Arno Martirosyan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Matthew Jastrzembowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 63rd minute, Arno Martirosyan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Khachatryan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Khachatryan made a substitution. Shi Liang Hao replaced Nair Vartanyan. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Alex Raţiu put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Matthew Jastrzembowski. Khachatryan made a substitution. Jerry Richter replaced Ricky Villegas. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Raţiu in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matthew Jastrzembowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hamburg Fighters's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arno Martirosyan was slow to take the kick. During this time Khachatryan's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Arno Martirosyan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hamburg Fighters's Matthew Jastrzembowski did a great save. Tigran Terzian's late challenge caught a Hamburg Fighters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tigran Terzian helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes Khachatryan got a freekick which was hit by Tigran Terzian. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Alex Raţiu sped through Hamburg Fighters's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Matthew Jastrzembowski. 87 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's goal looked a bit too open when Tigran Terzian came free, but Matthew Jastrzembowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khachatryan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arno Martirosyan in the 88th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Arno Martirosyan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khachatryan's supporters rose to their feet, but Arno Martirosyan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matthew Jastrzembowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Raţiu in the 94th minute of play forced Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Matthew Jastrzembowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Khachatryan were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Hamburg Fighters's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arno Martirosyan took the corner. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Khachatryan had won after a very even match.
