Ronaldão dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Betão Marinho came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ramiro Erasto could save by the left post. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Muchachos del 86's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Téo Fonseca was slow to take the kick. During this time Quebra Ossos FC's players had a chance to rest. Ricardo Ordono hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Téo Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Ramiro Erasto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quebra Ossos FC. Betão Marinho in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ramiro Erasto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Betão Marinho made the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Sergio Birjaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Muchachos del 86 and the Quebra Ossos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Quebra Ossos FC booed when Los Muchachos del 86 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Birjaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Betão Marinho sped through Los Muchachos del 86's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ramiro Erasto. Serafino Vincent hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Ramiro Erasto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Betão Marinho's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Joel Pabla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldão dos Santos having to interfere. Santo Blanco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Ordono hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 74 played minutes, Quebra Ossos FC's Téo Fonseca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ramiro Erasto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quebra Ossos FC reached it. Betão Marinho scored 4-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramiro Erasto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sílvio Corrêa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 79 played minutes Quebra Ossos FC got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Queirós. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Pabla in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldão dos Santos saved Quebra Ossos FC from getting behind. Los Muchachos del 86's Sergio Birjaio got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Sergio Birjaio off the ground. The supporters of Quebra Ossos FC booed when Los Muchachos del 86 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Birjaio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
