With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vintilă Şimonca in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonidas Barrera saved Buenaventura FC from getting behind. In the 17th minute, Roger Martinez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jimmie Ek was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Rasmus Moberg came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Firma Barnängen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rasmus Moberg couldn't finish the play. Romel Torrijos struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Jimmie Ek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buenaventura FC. Vintilă Şimonca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonidas Barrera having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Firma Barnängen's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Paredes came free, but Jimmie Ek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Björn Bröms's late challenge caught a Buenaventura FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Björn Bröms helped the player get up and apologised. Jimmie Ek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Martinez in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Buenaventura FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Orlando Morales hit a great ball. Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Barrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vintilă Şimonca in the 45th minute of play. Leonidas Barrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magne Runeberg in the 47th minute of play. When Firma Barnängen's Magne Runeberg in 47 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Leonidas Barrera guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vintilă Şimonca to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Vintilă Şimonca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonidas Barrera was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Leonidas Barrera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rasmus Moberg in the 58th minute. Orvar Gullesson kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Rasmus Moberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonidas Barrera having to make a save. Rasmus Moberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Barrera got control of the ball when Rasmus Moberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Barrera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Buenaventura FC from getting a goal against them. After 75 played minutes Buenaventura FC got a freekick which was hit by Romel Torrijos. Leonidas Barrera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rasmus Moberg in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Patrick Kilström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roger Martinez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimmie Ek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Vintilă Şimonca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonidas Barrera. Vintilă Şimonca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Aleksander Blomkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Firma Barnängen's supporters rose to their feet, but Aleksander Blomkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonidas Barrera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Enrique Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
