The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Deportivo ScrugenFC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Guerrero came free, but Cresconio Carreño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 played minutes Deportivo ScrugenFC got a freekick which was hit by Cuarto Marzana. Cresconio Carreño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sanderson Cabeleira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Lluis Pavieta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Big Saver. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Silvano Quinteros kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Caradaro Arismendi charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caradaro Arismendi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th match minute, Deportivo ScrugenFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caradaro Arismendi to maneuver through the defense. Big Saver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rainerio Uria, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Cresconio Carreño came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Francisco Guerrero. But to his dismay, Francisco Guerrero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rainerio Uria got free with Big Saver in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caradaro Arismendi in the 29th minute of play forced -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goalkeeper Big Saver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cresconio Carreño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Quinteros, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Rainerio Uria hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Cresconio Carreño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Guerrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Guerrero in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cresconio Carreño saved Deportivo ScrugenFC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Francisco Guerrero sped through Deportivo ScrugenFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cresconio Carreño. 43 minutes into the game, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Sanderson Cabeleira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cresconio Carreño made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Sanderson Cabeleira kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Guerrero was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvano Quinteros got free with Cresconio Carreño in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lluis Pavieta's late challenge caught a -BZF- Barca de Buzau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lluis Pavieta helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of -BZF- Barca de Buzau booed when Deportivo ScrugenFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lluis Pavieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Guerrero might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cresconio Carreño. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Guerrero ran back to his position shaking his head. 59 minutes into the match, Deportivo ScrugenFC's goalkeeper Cresconio Carreño had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Guerrero. Sebastian Gentiletti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Cresconio Carreño made a huge save. Big Saver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lluis Pavieta in the 68th minute of the match. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Cresconio Carreño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viorel Bungescu in the 72nd minute of play. Cresconio Carreño made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Sebastian Gentiletti sent off a good shot on target. Cresconio Carreño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Petersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Sebastian Gentiletti dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cresconio Carreño, 1-4. Jonathan Petersson ran over to the corner to take the kick. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Jonathan Petersson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cresconio Carreño in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Silvano Quinteros got a free kick in the 96th minute.
