In the 8th minute, Dominique Gernigon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roncourt's 邵南洲 collided with an opponent after 11 minutes. He was hit so badly that he fractured his arm. Gert Robijns's late challenge caught a Roncourt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gert Robijns helped the player get up and apologised. Roncourt's Cyril Dalmas was substituted for 邵南洲. In the 11th minute, one of de belletrekkers:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for de belletrekkers. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Théodore Cordeau in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristiaan Van de Velde saved de belletrekkers from getting behind. 34 minutes into the game, Titouan Delhommeau threw the ball into play from the sideline. de belletrekkers's Gert Robijns quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Kristiaan Van de Velde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Théodore Cordeau in the 36th minute of play. Kristiaan Van de Velde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyril Dalmas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. de belletrekkers's Kristiaan Van de Velde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyril Dalmas in the 41st minute of play. Hippolyte Taillade hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Edgard Armentier dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Brian Fumey, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgard Armentier was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, de belletrekkers's Kristiaan Van de Velde got control of the ball when Raymond Demeyer tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute Cyril Dalmas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristiaan Van de Velde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cyril Dalmas spun around in front of the goal 55 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of de belletrekkers's goal. In the 67th minute Cyril Dalmas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristiaan Van de Velde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristiaan Van de Velde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyril Dalmas in the 71st minute of play. Cyril Dalmas took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristiaan Van de Velde. Kristiaan Van de Velde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Cyril Dalmas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Roncourt getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Raymond Demeyer hit a great ball. Brian Fumey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Van Impe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Titouan Delhommeau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cyril Dalmas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cyril Dalmas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristiaan Van de Velde having to make a save. In the 90th minute Cyril Dalmas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristiaan Van de Velde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristiaan Van de Velde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyril Dalmas in the 94th minute of the match. Roncourt were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
