With an all-out effort, Czarni Kozłowa Góra's Enrique Lekubegi threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rafal Dula, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 8 minutes into the match, Czarni Kozłowa Góra's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Guipuzkoa came free, but Walery Skaradoski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walery Skaradoski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Gaufred in the 10th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Ignacy Dziura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Lekubegi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Izydor Falkowski charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Izydor Falkowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Izydor Falkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Anibal Fernendo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Dionisio Oton got a free kick in the 24th minute. Boruc Cizeski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enrique Lekubegi. Palermo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nicanor Gaufred fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walery Skaradoski having to interfere. With a little luck, Palermo's Enrique Lekubegi got control of the ball when Ignacy Dziura tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Anibal Fernendo got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Nicanor Gaufred had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Alvaro Ermano got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 35 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Hernandez. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Ignacy Dziura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Czarni Kozłowa Góra's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacy Dziura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Lekubegi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Rafal Dula came free, but Enrique Lekubegi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palermo's goalkeeper Enrique Lekubegi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The crowd rose to their feet as Donato Vachon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Walery Skaradoski. That made the score 0-3 in the 55 minute of play. Nicanor Gaufred struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Walery Skaradoski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palermo. When Donato Vachon came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Palermo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Vachon couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute Nicanor Gaufred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walery Skaradoski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walery Skaradoski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Gaufred, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Palermo's Donato Vachon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 74th minute of the match Nicanor Gaufred sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Walery Skaradoski skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacy Dziura in the 77th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Enrique Lekubegi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 minutes Palermo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Boruc Cizeski who took care of the corner kick. 80 minutes into the game, Anselmo Domingues recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Walery Skaradoski. Anselmo Domingues showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. In the 84th minute, Boruc Cizeski made a precise shot to the right of Enrique Lekubegi. Palermo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Anselmo Domingues hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The supporters of Palermo booed when Czarni Kozłowa Góra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacy Dziura didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Czarni Kozłowa Góra defense, Donato Vachon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walery Skaradoski. The Czarni Kozłowa Góra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walery Skaradoski should have stopped the shot. The Palermo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
