Gregory Boffa scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eustaquio Elivareo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnulfo Mundo in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ian Manchè prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ian Manchè made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Vellito in the 21st minute of play. Eustaquio Elivareo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregory Boffa in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, El Renacer del Quijano FC's Anacleto Txaran got a free kick in the 24th minute. Eustaquio Elivareo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Austin Gatt in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, El Renacer del Quijano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Urpani came free, but Eustaquio Elivareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Ian Manchè managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when El Renacer del Quijano FC's Arnulfo Mundo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Arnulfo Mundo sped through Floriana Celtics's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ian Manchè. In the 34th minute, Niceto Vellito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Arnulfo Mundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, El Renacer del Quijano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Austin Gatt came free, but Eustaquio Elivareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 played minutes, Floriana Celtics's Malcolm Hili shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eustaquio Elivareo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Floriana Celtics reached it. Antonio Laudi kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, El Renacer del Quijano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Mundo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Floriana Celtics's zone, Niceto Vellito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ian Manchè came out of the goal and Niceto Vellito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brian Urpani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Gregory Boffa took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Eustaquio Elivareo to make any attempt to save it. In the 62nd match minute, El Renacer del Quijano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Txaran to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Arnulfo Mundo made a precise shot to the right of Ian Manchè. Floriana Celtics's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Eustaquio Elivareo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregory Boffa in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Mundo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ian Manchè. Floriana Celtics's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnulfo Mundo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. In the 77th minute, Gregory Boffa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eustaquio Elivareo. The goal made the score 3-3. After 82 played minutes El Renacer del Quijano FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Mundo. Eustaquio Elivareo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Urpani in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Arnulfo Mundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd match minute, El Renacer del Quijano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Francho to maneuver through the defense. Pepe Haedo struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Eustaquio Elivareo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floriana Celtics. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
