Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brian Urpani started the match with the kick off. Austin Gatt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Floriana Celtics's Ian Manchè played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Maurin in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Urpani in the 12th minute of play forced Mosbius Designs's goalkeeper Isidoro Cheche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Floriana Celtics's Malcolm Hili got a free kick in the 13th minute. Mosbius Designs's Roman Maurin got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Francesco Naudi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Austin Gatt struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Isidoro Cheche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floriana Celtics. Mosbius Designs's Isidoro Cheche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Urpani in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Roman Maurin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ian Manchè was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the game, Antonio Laudi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Floriana Celtics's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mosbius Designs the free kick. In the 30th minute, Antonio Laudi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 played minutes Mosbius Designs got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Camerino. In the 34th minute, Pepe Haedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Mosbius Designs's goal looked a bit too open when Gregory Boffa came free, but Isidoro Cheche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desiderio Emmanuel's late challenge caught a Floriana Celtics's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Desiderio Emmanuel helped the player get up and apologised. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

52 minutes into the game, Malcolm Hili was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 52nd match minute, Floriana Celtics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malcolm Hili to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Floriana Celtics's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Tolino came free, but Ian Manchè reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Heriberto hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Floriana Celtics's Pepe Haedo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mosbius Designs. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Pepe Haedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floriana Celtics's supporters rose to their feet, but Pepe Haedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidoro Cheche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vladimiro Fero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Ian Manchè tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregory Boffa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Isidoro Cheche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Floriana Celtics booed when Mosbius Designs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Emmanuel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute Pepe Haedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Cheche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pepe Haedo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. A collision led to Floriana Celtics getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Pepe Haedo hit a great ball. Mosbius Designs's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
