The North Hill United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ian Manchè took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omer Vandamme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute Omer Vandamme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Manchè saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Floriana Celtics's Ian Manchè played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omer Vandamme in the 11th minute of play. When Steve Teuma Castelletti fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Floriana Celtics's protests and gave Steve Teuma Castelletti a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Floriana Celtics getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Steve Teuma Castelletti hit a great ball. Vincent Dekeyser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Austin Gatt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vincent Dekeyser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Austin Gatt in the 16th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Omer Vandamme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ian Manchè was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After 27 minutes of play, North Hill United's Omer Vandamme made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ian Manchè was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 31 minutes, Boudewijn Bauwens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the North Hill United and the Floriana Celtics players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, North Hill United's Boudewijn Bauwens got a free kick in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omer Vandamme in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ian Manchè prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to North Hill United getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Douglas Loosen hit a great ball. Ian Manchè made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David De Raeijmaecker in the 41st minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of North Hill United booed when Floriana Celtics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Naudi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ian Manchè didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Omer Vandamme went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Floriana Celtics:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of North Hill United:s goal. North Hill United made a substitution. Yanne De Langhe replaced Romeo Vandamme. Brend Van Linthoudt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Ian Manchè made a huge save. 70 minutes into the match, Brend Van Linthoudt notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Floriana Celtics's Ian Manchè. Ian Manchè was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brend Van Linthoudt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ian Manchè came out and tried to block the shot, but Brend Van Linthoudt slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 76th minute. Brend Van Linthoudt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, North Hill United's Brend Van Linthoudt got a free kick in the 80th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Brend Van Linthoudt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ian Manchè. That made the score 0-7 in the 91 minute of play. Brend Van Linthoudt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Floriana Celtics's Ian Manchè got control of the ball when David De Raeijmaecker tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded North Hill United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Floriana Celtics.
