Germano Moreira was slow to take the kick. During this time Bayern Lessa - u21's players had a chance to rest. 8 minutes into the match, Luciano do Valle notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Buzău's Ciprian Ghioane. Ciprian Ghioane was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Serge Bolado took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciprian Ghioane. Ciprian Ghioane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Serge Bolado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciprian Ghioane read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Bayern Lessa - u21 getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gugu Mazza hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Serge Bolado sped through FC Buzău's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ciprian Ghioane. Tudor Stancu hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Gugu Mazza charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gugu Mazza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Bayern Lessa - u21 got a freekick which was hit by Gugu Mazza. Ciprian Ghioane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serge Bolado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bayern Lessa - u21's Serge Bolado in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Buzău's goalie prevented a goal. The corner ended in Germano Moreira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Buzău's Ciprian Ghioane did a great save. Nicu Joldea hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute Luciano do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Ghioane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano do Valle in the 40th minute of play forced FC Buzău's goalkeeper Ciprian Ghioane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, FC Buzău's Albert Avacariței dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Ciprian Ghioane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serge Bolado in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

FC Buzău's Ciprian Ghioane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Buzău from getting a goal against them. A collision led to FC Buzău getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Sorin Cristoiu hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC Buzău's Adrian Stancu got a free kick in the 64th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano do Valle got free with Ciprian Ghioane in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Buzău's Ciprian Ghioane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serge Bolado in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Avacariței in the 79th minute of play forced Bayern Lessa - u21's goalkeeper Xande Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Bayern Lessa - u21's Germano Moreira got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Mihail Gherdan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xande Buffon skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, FC Buzău's Ciprian Ghioane got control of the ball when Luciano do Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luciano do Valles short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Ciprian Ghioane to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ciprian Ghioane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serge Bolado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bayern Lessa - u21 played a much better game than FC Buzău and deserved their victory. The FC Buzău players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
