But to his dismay, Remus Munteanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Anusruta Penisson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihail Gherdan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remus Munteanu got free with Anusruta Penisson in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when FC Buzău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciprian Pavel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of FC Buzău booed when Vykans Vikingar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Ring didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pompiliu Balaban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anusruta Penisson having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Remus Munteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Buzău's supporters rose to their feet, but Remus Munteanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anusruta Penisson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingvar Sjögren made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Gherdan came free, but Anusruta Penisson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vykans Vikingar's Anusruta Penisson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Gherdan in the 55th minute of play. After some careless play in the Vykans Vikingar defense, Mihail Gherdan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anusruta Penisson. The Vykans Vikingar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anusruta Penisson should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute Mihail Gherdan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anusruta Penisson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kalle Deckbergh hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Gherdan came free, but Anusruta Penisson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Mihail Gherdan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anusruta Penisson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Remus Munteanu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80thth minute of the game Ingvar Sjögren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Buzău's Ciprian Ghioane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Vykans Vikingar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anusruta Penisson should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute, Remus Munteanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anusruta Penisson was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Remus Munteanu kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. FC Buzău's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
