The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristi Foltea during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the VAMO ARRIBA defense, Leontin Iacobescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Loramendi. The VAMO ARRIBA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Loramendi should have stopped the shot. Roman Loramendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcu Voitiş in the 19th minute of the match. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for VAMO ARRIBA! In the 29th minute Leontin Iacobescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Loramendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes, Armando Seber made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. MIT's Vitko Vutev tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Flavius Câmpeanu hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Vitko Vutev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Ilixo in the 36th minute of play. With a little luck, MIT's Vitko Vutev got control of the ball when Armando Seber tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roman Loramendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristi Foltea in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leontin Iacobescu was the one to do the kick off. MIT's Vitko Vutev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Seber in the 53rd minute of play. Roman Loramendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leontin Iacobescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, MIT's Leontin Iacobescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Loramendi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nicolas Laurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Seber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Vitko Vutev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcu Voitiş in the 75th minute of play forced VAMO ARRIBA's goalkeeper Roman Loramendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Marcu Voitiş recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roman Loramendi. Marcu Voitiş showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. MIT's Sergiu Costa was substituted for Emil Glodeanu. Dacian Corbu scored 2-4 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roman Loramendi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roman Loramendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcu Voitiş in the 87th minute of the match. VAMO ARRIBA's Roman Loramendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcu Voitiş in the 88th minute of play. VAMO ARRIBA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Leontin Iacobescu scored to the left of an out of position Roman Loramendi, making the score, 2-5. The MIT players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
