Atilano Raymon hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Yan Guo Qiang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Feliberto Gaskon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliberto Gaskon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Euloxu in the 16th minute of the match. After 17 minutes POSSE 1911 FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ulf Kling who took care of the corner kick. Ramiro Estavan was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 20 minutes into the match, Kingpins's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Madaleno came free, but Bixente Poli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorino Euloxu might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Feliberto Gaskon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victorino Euloxu ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Yan Guo Qiang sped through POSSE 1911 FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Feliberto Gaskon. Yan Guo Qiang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliberto Gaskon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by POSSE 1911 FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ulf Kling was slow to take the kick. During this time Kingpins's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Ulf Kling got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Feliberto Gaskon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Feliberto Gaskon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Euloxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute of the match Kingpins got a corner. POSSE 1911 FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ulf Kling ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ulf Kling got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Feliberto Gaskon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Feliberto Gaskon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Euloxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victorino Euloxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Feliberto Gaskon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yan Guo Qiang struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Feliberto Gaskon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kingpins. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Venancio Dimas's late challenge caught a Kingpins's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Venancio Dimas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, POSSE 1911 FC's Venancio Dimas got a free kick in the 56th minute. When Ulf Kling came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Kingpins fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulf Kling couldn't finish the play. POSSE 1911 FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Yan Guo Qiang scored to the left of an out of position Feliberto Gaskon, making the score, 0-3. Kingpins made a substitution. Patrik Beneth replaced Yan Guo Qiang. Kingpins's Pål Hammarström was substituted for Karl-Johan Gregersson. Feliberto Gaskon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Beneth, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind POSSE 1911 FC's goalkeeper Feliberto Gaskon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patrik Beneth received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Feliberto Gaskon came out and tried to block the shot, but Patrik Beneth slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 94th minute. Kingpins played a much better game than POSSE 1911 FC and deserved their victory. The POSSE 1911 FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
