An unexpectedly hard shot by Leontin Iacobescu in the 2nd minute of play forced VAMO ARRIBA's goalkeeper Roman Loramendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Asteri's late challenge caught a MIT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Asteri helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th match minute, VAMO ARRIBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Asteri to maneuver through the defense. Leontin Iacobescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roman Loramendi came out and tried to block the shot, but Leontin Iacobescu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Marcu Voitiş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Loramendi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leontin Iacobescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. VAMO ARRIBA's Roman Loramendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leontin Iacobescu in the 16th minute of play. After taking down the ball on VAMO ARRIBA's corner Gilberto Lauaxeta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vitko Vutev quite easily take care of the ball. MIT's Edgar Teodor quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Freddy Asteri, made in the 34th minute of the game. When Valer Papadima fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MIT's protests and gave Valer Papadima a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Valer Papadima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute of the match Armando Seber shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vitko Vutev showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rigoberto Leheren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to MIT getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Flavius Câmpeanu hit a great ball. In the 59th minute of the match, Eustaquio Ilixo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vitko Vutev saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 60 minutes into the match, Leontin Iacobescu notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of VAMO ARRIBA's Roman Loramendi. Roman Loramendi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70th minute Flavius Câmpeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Loramendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustaquio Ilixo kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. MIT made a substitution. Mihai Cismaș replaced Sever Dobrescu. In the 74th minute of the match Sabin Eniceicu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roman Loramendi skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in MIT's zone, Armando Seber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitko Vutev came out of the goal and Armando Seber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. MIT made a substitution. Cristi Foltea replaced Emil Glodeanu. In the 79thth minute of the game Leontin Iacobescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VAMO ARRIBA's Roman Loramendi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roman Loramendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leontin Iacobescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Roman Loramendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihai Cismaș in the 94th minute of play. MIT's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
