The Decathlon Dudes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfred Brandsma during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Decathlon Dudes's Alfred Brandsma got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 29th minute Denis Kelemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirk-Jan van Bronckhorst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Denis Kelemen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dirk-Jan van Bronckhorst. Decathlon Dudes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denis Kelemen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. But to his dismay, Christijan Oss quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After the first half Decathlon Dudes were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denis Kelemen made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Carlo Moek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alonzo Benet was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. In the 52nd minute, Decathlon Dudes's Carlo Moek ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alonzo Benet. Alonzo Benet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. 55 minutes into the match, Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s goalkeeper Alonzo Benet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christijan Oss. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christijan Oss in the 57th minute of play forced Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s goalkeeper Alonzo Benet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alonzo Benet was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Roelof Zeevenhoven capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roelof Zeevenhoven really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Jasper Philipsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Decathlon Dudes's supporters rose to their feet, but Jasper Philipsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alonzo Benet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s Alonzo Benet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christijan Oss in the 64th minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Christijan Oss cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Alonzo Benet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carlo Moek's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Alonzo Benet skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ariel Montes's late challenge caught a Decathlon Dudes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ariel Montes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st match minute, Decathlon Dudes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roelof Zeevenhoven to maneuver through the defense. Alonzo Benet made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Christijan Oss sent off a good shot on target. Alonzo Benet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roelof Zeevenhoven's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Roelof Zeevenhoven put it in 1-8 from a short distance just to the right of Alonzo Benet. Ariel Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s Alonzo Benet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roelof Zeevenhoven in the 88th minute of play. Roelof Zeevenhoven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Benet having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christijan Oss in the 94th minute of play forced Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s goalkeeper Alonzo Benet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Decathlon Dudes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
