Cambranes Rosario's late challenge caught a SAO JOANENSE FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cambranes Rosario helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Villawalter City's Cambranes Rosario got a free kick in the 9th minute. Eriberto Vaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but J.P. España made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, SAO JOANENSE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anxo Maestro came free, but José do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, John Garate cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. José do Vale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Angelo Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Eriberto Vaz scored 1-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of J.P. España, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Aritz Morales put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of José do Vale. Aritz Morales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Villawalter City were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Villawalter City's Gerald Deulofeu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of José do Vale. That made the score 1-5 after 55 minutes of play. J.P. España showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrinho Lara in the 60th minute of the match. If Pedrinho Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Aritz Morales kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving José do Vale. José do Vale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 94th minute Aritz Morales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
