The tension between the Palloketut and the MEXACOMX players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Palloketut getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Palloketut's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Alfredo Osório made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teemu Valkealahti in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Palloketut's Alpi Askolin got a free kick in the 59th minute.
