Sérgio Loureiro's late challenge caught a Palloketut's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sérgio Loureiro helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 played minutes Microsoft Team got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Loureiro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jari Welling in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Décio Barbosa saved Microsoft Team from getting behind. After 6 played minutes Microsoft Team got a freekick which was hit by Rubinho Furtado. Jyrki Rajamäki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Netto in the 11th minute of play. Dorian Catarinense hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Microsoft Team's Luiz Eduardo Netto in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palloketut's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Microsoft Team booed when Palloketut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alpi Askolin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 minutes, Eevert Hati mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palloketut and the Microsoft Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th minute, Eevert Hati hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Palloketut:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Microsoft Team:s goal. The goalkeeper, Jyrki Rajamäki, was totally fooled by Microsoft Team's Dorian Catarinense, who 28 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Artturi Vahalahti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jari Lehtinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artturi Vahalahti was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Eduardo Netto in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jyrki Rajamäki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Eduardo Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jyrki Rajamäki having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Luiz Eduardo Netto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jyrki Rajamäki was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Jyrki Rajamäki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Eduardo Netto in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Eduardo Netto in the 86th minute of play forced Palloketut's goalkeeper Jyrki Rajamäki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Microsoft Team support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
