In the 5th minute, Elliot Rosendal fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rodolfo Seabra, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliot Rosendal in the 7th minute of play forced MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Rodolfo Seabra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Seabra made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima sent off a good shot on target. Nuno Candeias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Esteban Guerrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Elderslie Magpies's Elliot Rosendal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodolfo Seabra. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Jarrett Maddern who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MEXACOMX's Rodolfo Seabra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute Domingos Vilarinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Guerrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Seabra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliot Rosendal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nuno Candeias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Esteban Guerrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, MEXACOMX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Guerra to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, MEXACOMX's Rodolfo Seabra got control of the ball when Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 played minutes Elderslie Magpies got a freekick which was hit by Elliot Rosendal. Elderslie Magpies's Esteban Guerrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Vilarinho in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, MEXACOMX's Mariano Faria got a free kick in the 35th minute. Jarrett Maddern could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Rodolfo Seabra made a huge save. Nuno Candeias scored 1-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esteban Guerrero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the game, Elliot Rosendal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rodolfo Seabra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 46 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Rodolfo Seabra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima. After a rather tough play, MEXACOMX's Dimas Camargo got a free kick in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Elliot Rosendal made the kick off in the second half. Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima scored 3-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Seabra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo Seabra. Rodolfo Seabra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The supporters of MEXACOMX booed when Elderslie Magpies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hale Mckinnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Nuno Candeias in the 59th minute really tested Esteban Guerrero's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, MEXACOMX's Marcelo Guerra got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 61st minute, Jarrett Maddern sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and MEXACOMX's Rodolfo Seabra didn't even have to move. Marcelo Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elliot Rosendal in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodolfo Seabra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 66 played minutes Elderslie Magpies got a freekick which was hit by Elliot Rosendal. Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima's late challenge caught a MEXACOMX's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima hit a great ball. Esteban Guerrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Candeias in the 71st minute of play. Esteban Guerrero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuno Candeias in the 73rd minute. The supporters of MEXACOMX booed when Elderslie Magpies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno Candeias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Esteban Guerrero made a huge save. Esteban Guerrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Gonçalves in the 77th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno Candeias got free with Esteban Guerrero in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 82 minutes, Fabrício Gonçalves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MEXACOMX and the Elderslie Magpies players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabrício Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Elliot Rosendal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Seabra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteban Guerrero made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Nuno Candeias sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute, Hale Mckinnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingos Vilarinho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Esteban Guerrero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rodolfo Seabra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliot Rosendal, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 91 minutes into the game, Dimas Camargo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MEXACOMX's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elderslie Magpies the free kick.
