The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Chago in the 5th minute of play forced MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Rodolfo Seabra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Edelmiro Chago made a precise shot to the right of Rodolfo Seabra. MEXACOMX's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 10 minutes into the game, CAI NEUQUEN's Aureliano Tuste nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodolfo Seabra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 13th minute Fabrício Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Lalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by CAI NEUQUEN's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nuno Candeias was slow to take the kick. During this time MEXACOMX's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Dimas Camargo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. MEXACOMX's Rodolfo Seabra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Tuste in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the MEXACOMX defense, Edelmiro Chago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Seabra. The MEXACOMX fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Seabra should have stopped the shot. Domingos Vilarinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Serafin Lalla made a huge save. Rodolfo Seabra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Tuste in the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Rene Fortun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Rodolfo Seabra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 35 minutes into the game, CAI NEUQUEN's Edelmiro Chago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serafin Lalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Candeias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Domingos Vilarinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, Nuno Candeias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-7. Serafin Lalla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd minute, Mariano Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute of the match, Aureliano Tuste tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rodolfo Seabra saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aureliano Tuste took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo Seabra.
