Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natalio Ferman to make the kick off. Eustaquio Tiadoro charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eustaquio Tiadoro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ciro Del Vecchio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Eliseo Bingen put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Ciro Del Vecchio. In the 87th minute, Eliseo Bingen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciro Del Vecchio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Bernardo Inko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ciro Del Vecchio came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernardo Inko slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 90th minute. Ciro Del Vecchio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliseo Bingen's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute, Anfilogino Rocca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Del Vecchio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Bingen, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The San Lorenzo de Sarandi players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
