Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Diego Balendin got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Arnaldo Hurko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Lorenzo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Lucila came free, but Cássio de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. San Lorenzo were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Poetass FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arnaldo Hurko took the corner. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Arnaldo Bide took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Cássio de Senna to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudinho Saldanha in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anier Oidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnaldo Hurkos short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Cássio de Senna to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cássio de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Lucila in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match, Arnaldo Bide got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cássio de Senna was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Diego Balendin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Cássio de Senna made a huge save. Arnaldo Hurko took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cássio de Senna. Poetass FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arnaldo Bide's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cássio de Senna firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cássio de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Balendin, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The supporters of Poetass FC booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Lucila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudinho Saldanha hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Cássio de Senna made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Arnaldo Hurko sent off a good shot on target. Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Poetass FC from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Claudinho Saldanha made the kick off in the second half. Poetass FC's Claudinho Saldanha got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 57th play minutes Claudinho Saldanha shot 5-1, a short shot which went by Anier Oidor and just under the crossbar into goal. Olavo Carioca hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Cássio de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Bide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noel Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Diego Balendin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamim Guedes hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Arnaldo Bide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Lucila came free, but Cássio de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Lucila in the 69th minute of play. Zé Augusto Barreto charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Augusto Barreto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zé Augusto Barreto hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when Poetass FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute Diego Balendin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Balendin, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Cássio de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Lucila in the 83rd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Poetass FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Sergipano. After a defensive mix-up in Poetass FC's zone, Ruben Gervaso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio de Senna came out of the goal and Ruben Gervaso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Bide had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cássio de Senna. Poetass FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Bide was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. 93 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Balendin came free, but Cássio de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that San Lorenzo were the better team. San Lorenzo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
