Gino de Lima started the match with the kick off. When Cesare Cinalli fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carloforte f.c.'s protests and gave Cesare Cinalli a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Carloforte f.c.! Alex Federici had in the 6thth minute some difficulties stopping Denílson Faria's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 9th match minute, Carloforte f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Di Nucci to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Izaltina FAD getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Rafael Nunes hit a great ball. Alex Federici made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Gino de Lima sent off a good shot on target. Alex Federici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes Carloforte f.c.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Denílson Faria who took care of the corner kick. Alex Federici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino de Lima in the 19th minute of the match. Dráusio Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Martini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dráusio Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Orioli in the 26th minute of play. Amedeo Orioli hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Alex Federici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After some careless play in the Carloforte f.c. defense, Gino de Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Federici. The Carloforte f.c. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Federici should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Paranaense in the 39th minute of play forced Carloforte f.c.'s goalkeeper Alex Federici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Carloforte f.c.'s zone, Bernardinho de Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Federici came out of the goal and Bernardinho de Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alessandro Angelucci hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavio Martini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play Carloforte f.c.'s Alessandro Angelucci was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 54th minute, one of Carloforte f.c.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carloforte f.c.. The referee gave Izaltina FAD a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Denílson Faria, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Carloforte f.c.'s Alex Federici. 2-0. Izaltina FAD made a substitution. Ricardo Pires replaced Cristóvão Paranaense. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Carloforte f.c.'s goalkeeper Alex Federici, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Dino Di Nucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Carloforte f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Pires came free, but Alex Federici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Gino de Lima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Federici. Carloforte f.c.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gino de Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Alex Federici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Martini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 played minutes Carloforte f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Bianco Mannucci. In the 77th minute Carloforte f.c. were awarded a corner. Bianco Mannucci went to the cornerflag to take it. 77 minutes into the match it was 3-1 when Bianco Mannucci shot a long shot which zipped by Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper at the right pole. After 87 minutes, Bianco Mannucci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carloforte f.c. and the Izaltina FAD players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Izaltina FAD a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Denílson Faria, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Carloforte f.c.'s Alex Federici. 4-1. In the 94th match minute, Carloforte f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Orioli to maneuver through the defense. Alex Federici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino de Lima in the 99th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Izaltina FAD fully deserved thier win.
