When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Braulio Castel put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alex Federici. In the 10thth minute of the game Gheorghe Corbuț who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carloforte f.c.'s Alex Federici was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute Sandu Brădescu suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. F.C.BARLAD made a substitution. Calistrat Bucuță replaced Sandu Brădescu. Cesare Cinalli hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. If Gheorghe Corbuț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29thth minute of the game Gheorghe Corbuț who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carloforte f.c.'s Alex Federici was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. F.C.BARLAD's Wojtek Szczęsny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save F.C.BARLAD from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the match, F.C.BARLAD's Gheorghe Corbuț sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Federici narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The F.C.BARLAD fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when F.C.BARLAD's Gheorghe Corbuț looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of F.C.BARLAD booed when Carloforte f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo De Vito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Florin Racoviceanu made a precise shot to the right of Alex Federici. Carloforte f.c.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Gheorghe Corbuț recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 46 minutes, Gheorghe Corbuț managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C.BARLAD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gheorghe Corbuț was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Carloforte f.c. defense, Gheorghe Corbuț kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Federici. The Carloforte f.c. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Federici should have stopped the shot. The Carloforte f.c. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. F.C.BARLAD were winning 0-5.

After a rather tough play, F.C.BARLAD's János Csongrádi got a free kick in the 59th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Gheorghe Corbuț had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Federici. Carloforte f.c.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gheorghe Corbuț was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After 69 played minutes Gheorghe Corbuț rounded Carloforte f.c.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-8. Gheorghe Corbuț recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Ştefan Crețu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gheorghe Corbuț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Carloforte f.c.'s Arturo De Vito got a free kick in the 89th minute. Gheorghe Corbuț's late challenge caught a Carloforte f.c.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gheorghe Corbuț helped the player get up and apologised. Gheorghe Corbuț hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. F.C.BARLAD's Gheorghe Corbuț was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 92nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Wojtek Szczęsny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo De Vito in the 97th minute of play. Alex Federici stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gheorghe Corbuț's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. When the match was over F.C.BARLAD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Carloforte f.c. throughout the match.
