Luckas De Wortelaers hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the game, Leones FC's Gaspar Sabin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolaas Van Hamme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a little luck, Leones FC's Aureliano Obeko got control of the ball when Arsene Vermeulen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aureliano Obeko made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Arsene Vermeulen sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th match minute, KFC Paal-Tervant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Verbeeck to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match Amador Jakue shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicolaas Van Hamme showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. KFC Paal-Tervant's Nicolaas Van Hamme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Sabin in the 32nd minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaspar Sabin was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Gaspar Sabin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leones FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 55th minute, Leonardo Poz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute Manu Gyselinx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Obeko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 minutes, Jaime Mundo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leones FC and the KFC Paal-Tervant players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 61 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Mundo. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Bartolo Cresconio hit a great ball. Jaime Mundo got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 65 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Mundo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Poz in the 70th minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Nicolaas Van Hamme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, KFC Paal-Tervant's Viktor Gijselinkx got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute, Leones FC's Leonardo Poz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. The supporters of KFC Paal-Tervant booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaspar Sabin came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nicolaas Van Hamme could save by the left post. In the 86th minute, Leonardo Poz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nicolaas Van Hamme. The goal made the score 0-6. After 92 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Cresconio. In the 93rd match minute, KFC Paal-Tervant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manu Gyselinx to maneuver through the defense. Aureliano Obeko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsene Vermeulen in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Leones FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
