Benicio Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorne Verhofstadt, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, Riesgo Cero's Anselmo Nerio got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute of the match Luckas De Wortelaers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benicio Arias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 33rd match minute, KFC Paal-Tervant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwenn Preuveneer to maneuver through the defense. Manu Gyselinx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arsene Vermeulen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, KFC Paal-Tervant's Luckas De Wortelaers ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benicio Arias. Benicio Arias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. A collision led to Riesgo Cero getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Anselmo Nerio hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manu Gyselinx got free with Benicio Arias in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Prudencio Rolado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Lia took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolaas Van Hamme. Nicolaas Van Hamme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Benicio Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsene Vermeulen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KFC Paal-Tervant's Nicolaas Van Hamme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Rolado in the 68th minute of play. Benicio Arias was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Jorne Verhofstadt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorne Verhofstadt really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Manu Gyselinx came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benicio Arias could save by the left post. The Riesgo Cero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. When the match was over KFC Paal-Tervant could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Riesgo Cero throughout the match.
