The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Águilas Poblanas. The supporters of Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® booed when Águilas Poblanas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Pes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Águilas Poblanas's Virgilio Monico got a free kick in the 12th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Vergílio came free, but Cornelio Mino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Leonardo Estavan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dênis Valle was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Leonardo Pes hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Adrianinho Furtado charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrianinho Furtado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Hermínio Pena came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermínio Pena couldn't finish the play. After 46 played minutes Águilas Poblanas got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Chayo. After the first half Águilas Poblanas were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Dênis Valle made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Virgilio Monico sent off a good shot on target. Cornelio Mino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermínio Pena in the 56th minute of the match. Leonardo Pes hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgilio Monico in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dênis Valle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Virgilio Monico hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Águilas Poblanas made a substitution. Ivan Perrando replaced Nicolas Truylos. A collision led to Águilas Poblanas getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Virgilio Monico hit a great ball. Cecilio Maties made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Percival Leal. 77 minutes into the game, Charles Vergílio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Águilas Poblanas's Leonardo Pes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Águilas Poblanas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
