Águilas Poblanas's Elpidio Chayo managed to work through ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Elpidio Chayo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Virgilio Monico sped through ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvestre Ugaitz. Elpidio Chayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Silvestre Ugaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Monico in the 24th minute of play. Nestor Harkaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Eriberto Gaur kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Silvestre Ugaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Monico in the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Harkaitz. The audience was convinced that Virgilio Monico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvestre Ugaitz was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 41st minute, Virgilio Monico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvestre Ugaitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virgilio Monico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Leonel Shantala sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cornelio Mino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Silvestre Ugaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Monico, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Águilas Poblanas's Ivan Perrando was substituted for Nicolas Truylos. A sloppy throw-in by Wilfredo Salomone in the 69th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Águilas Poblanas's Cecilio Maties. Cornelio Mino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Toribio in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Moises Nisio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Águilas Poblanas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Águilas Poblanas's Moises Nisio got a free kick in the 84th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Harkaitz in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornelio Mino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Dante Toribio managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Toribio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Mino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Águilas Poblanas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
