An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephen Duxbury in the 4th minute of play forced Veth Crystals's goalkeeper Tiburcio Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute Korona Kielce were awarded a corner. Stephen Duxbury went to the cornerflag to take it. Stephen Duxbury made a great header on Korona Kielce's corner, it was just that Veth Crystals's Tiburcio Jakue managed to reach the ball for a save. Tiburcio Jakue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephen Duxbury, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Edi Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the game, Korona Kielce's Stephen Duxbury nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiburcio Jakue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Cebula, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Maciej Korzym had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Veth Crystals's Tiburcio Jakue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Kielb in the 27th minute of play. 48 minutes into the game, Korona Kielce's Maciej Korzym nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiburcio Jakue made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Liu Zhi Guang to make the kick off. Richard Brearley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liu Zhi Guang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maksymilian Kasprzak in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Brearley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 63 minutes of play, Veth Crystals's Liu Zhi Guang made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Brearley was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 70th match minute, Veth Crystals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Loramendi to maneuver through the defense. Richard Brearley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liu Zhi Guang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the game, Zbigniew Wierzbicki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Richard Brearley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 85 minutes into the match, Zbigniew Wierzbicki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Richard Brearley. Korona Kielce's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zbigniew Wierzbicki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. Marian Domeradzki scored 6-3 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Brearley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Richard Brearley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbigniew Wierzbicki in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liu Zhi Guang in the 97th minute of play forced Korona Kielce's goalkeeper Richard Brearley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Veth Crystals had won after a very even match.
