Veth Crystals's Tiburcio Jakue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Queiroz in the 6th minute of play. Maksymilian Kasprzak charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maksymilian Kasprzak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Jataiense Futebol Clube booed when Veth Crystals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maksymilian Kasprzak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zachary Figlewski made a great header on Jataiense Futebol Clube's corner, it was just that Veth Crystals's Tiburcio Jakue managed to reach the ball for a save. Alperen Bozkurt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raul Loramendi in the 20th minute. Alperen Bozkurt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Casals in the 21st minute of play. Cyryl Zielinski kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Zachary Figlewski struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Tiburcio Jakue didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jataiense Futebol Clube. 33 minutes into the match, Jataiense Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Alperen Bozkurt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Liu Zhi Guang. After having played for 34 minutes, Claudinho Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jataiense Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinho Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Liu Zhi Guang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Alperen Bozkurt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Claudinho Queiroz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiburcio Jakue narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute of the match Jataiense Futebol Clube got a corner. Veth Crystals's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zachary Figlewski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Liu Zhi Guang took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alperen Bozkurt. Alperen Bozkurt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Jataiense Futebol Clube's zone, Gwidon Patora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alperen Bozkurt came out of the goal and Gwidon Patora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 68 minutes of play, Veth Crystals's Gwidon Patora made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alperen Bozkurt was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Veth Crystals's Tiburcio Jakue got control of the ball when Horácio Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute, Claudinho Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Golaki Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Jakue having to interfere. Wágner Fox might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiburcio Jakue. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wágner Fox ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th minute Wágner Fox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Jakue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 minutes Veth Crystals's goalkeeper Tiburcio Jakue managed, with a little bit of luck, save Wágner Fox's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Veth Crystals's goalkeeper Tiburcio Jakue, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Jataiense Futebol Clube's Golaki Goiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tiburcio Jakue. That made the score 2-2 after 99 minutes of play. Veth Crystals were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
