Richard Brearley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Patora, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The Veth Crystals fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Veth Crystals's Gwidon Patora looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 11 minutes into the match, Korona Kielce's goal looked a bit too open when Liu Zhi Guang came free, but Richard Brearley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Gwidon Patora notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Korona Kielce's Richard Brearley. Richard Brearley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tiburcio Jakue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephen Duxbury, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Casals in the 18th minute of play forced Korona Kielce's goalkeeper Richard Brearley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Stephen Duxbury's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiburcio Jakue was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Tiburcio Jakue stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stephen Duxbury's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Korona Kielce's goal looked a bit too open when Liu Zhi Guang came free, but Richard Brearley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Jakue made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacek Kielb in the 27th minute. Lee Sissons hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Gwidon Patora took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Brearley. Richard Brearley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After some careless play in the Korona Kielce defense, Andrea Casals kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richard Brearley. The Korona Kielce fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Brearley should have stopped the shot. Gwidon Patora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Tiburcio Jakue managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Korona Kielce's Jacek Kielb fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 43rd minute, Lee Sissons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lee Sissons charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lee Sissons the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lee Sissons kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Liu Zhi Guang took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Brearley. Richard Brearley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The Korona Kielce players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Veth Crystals were winning 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stephen Duxbury stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Korona Kielce's Patrick Davis was substituted for Rhys Rathmell. 70 minutes into the match, Veth Crystals's goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Kielb came free, but Tiburcio Jakue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Korona Kielce's Richard Brearley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Patora in the 71st minute of play. When Gwidon Patora, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 71 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Richard Brearley was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Veth Crystals's Ludomir Radzyminski was substituted for Nedas Jameikis. Veth Crystals made a substitution. Zbigniew Wierzbicki replaced Andrea Casals. Veth Crystals's Gabriel Vaz was substituted for Cyryl Zielinski. Richard Brearley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbigniew Wierzbicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Brearley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Wierzbicki in the 76th minute of the match. Richard Brearley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbigniew Wierzbicki in the 80th minute of play. Tiburcio Jakue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacek Kielb in the 83rd minute of play. Richard Brearley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liu Zhi Guang in the 84th minute of play. Liu Zhi Guang scored 0-8 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Brearley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jacek Kielb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Jacek Kielb ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiburcio Jakue was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. When the match was over Veth Crystals could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Korona Kielce throughout the match.
