Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) AIK FOTBOLL's Elof Hedin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sportivo Fernet Branca's Koča Branca got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evert Dahlqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After 10 played minutes AIK FOTBOLL got a freekick which was hit by Michel Bergendahl. 18 minutes into the match, AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Arne Kilström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dante Millan. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Fernet Branca's zone, Stig-Arne Skålberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Dalmai came out of the goal and Stig-Arne Skålberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 30 played minutes AIK FOTBOLL got a freekick which was hit by Michel Bergendahl. Sportivo Fernet Branca's Alfonso Dalmai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elof Hedin in the 35th minute of play. Gürkan Gurka made in the 37th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Elof Hedin immediately put the ball in play. Elof Hedin took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfonso Dalmai. Alfonso Dalmai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Elof Hedin kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Dahlqvist in the 46th minute of play forced Sportivo Fernet Branca's goalkeeper Alfonso Dalmai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Koča Branca fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sportivo Fernet Branca's protests and gave Koča Branca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th minute, Koča Branca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, Elof Hedin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfonso Dalmai. Sportivo Fernet Branca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elof Hedin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dante Millan was the one to do the kick off. AIK FOTBOLL made a substitution. Robert Hermansson replaced Evert Dahlqvist. AIK FOTBOLL's Benne Speed was substituted for Gürkan Gurka. Olov Deckberg made in the 66th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sportivo Fernet Branca's Luisito Seme. In the 68th match minute, AIK FOTBOLL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olov Deckberg to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the game, Fredrik Axelsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfonso Dalmai. Fredrik Axelsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. 0-4 became the score in the 78th minute when Fredrik Axelsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 81 minutes, Honorio Arce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Fernet Branca and the AIK FOTBOLL players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mauricio Omero hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Arne Kilström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Millan in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Millan in the 98th minute of play forced AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Arne Kilström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AIK FOTBOLL had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
