When Adam Karlberg came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the LA VIOLA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Karlberg couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the game, Ye Xiang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Stig Byström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. LA VIOLA's Stig Byström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ye Xiang in the 18th minute of play. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Ye Xiang got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. He Qiang Sang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ye Xiang in the 29th minute of play forced LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Stig Byström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, LA VIOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rutger Westerberg to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Renan da Fonseca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stig Byström was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by LA VIOLA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ye Xiang was slow to take the kick. During this time CE LAJEADENSE RS's players had a chance to rest. Stig Byström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renan da Fonseca to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Renan da Fonseca sped through LA VIOLA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stig Byström. Adam Karlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Harry Kane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. LA VIOLA's Stig Byström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save LA VIOLA from getting a goal against them. After having played for 64 minutes, Adam Karlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA VIOLA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Karlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Renan da Fonseca took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig Byström. Stig Byström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Ye Xiang kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stig Byström. That made the score 0-6 in the 70 minute of play. With an all-out effort, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Stig Byström threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from He Qiang Sang, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Stig Byström made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Ye Xiang sent off a good shot on target. 77 minutes into the game, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Renan da Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stig Byström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. CE LAJEADENSE RS made a substitution. Simão Lira replaced Luís Gustavo Siqueira. A collision led to LA VIOLA getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Adam Karlberg hit a great ball. Stig Byström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ye Xiang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ye Xiang took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig Byström. Stig Byström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. In the 96th minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Renan da Fonseca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stig Byström. Stig Byström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CE LAJEADENSE RS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
