The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Jass Enula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Arnaldo Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Falcão Marques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peeter Bonetti was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 13thth minute of the game Falcão Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Dundee's Peeter Bonetti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Falcão Marques succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Falcão Marques took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peeter Bonetti. Peeter Bonetti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Peeter Bonetti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Falcão Marques's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 22nd match minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Fontes to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, FC Dundee's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Marques came free, but Peeter Bonetti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Falcão Marques in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peeter Bonetti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to FC Dundee getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Markus Lausmäe hit a great ball. FC Dundee's Enar Udu was substituted for Allan Loss. Gil dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Peeter Bonetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Falcão Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Rondinone F.C - FDFDF fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Falcão Marques looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Peeter Bonetti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falcão Marques in the 56th minute of the match. After 59 minutes of play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Falcão Marques made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peeter Bonetti was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 62 played minutes Rondinone F.C - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Vianna. In the 67th minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Falcão Marques dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. With his leg Peeter Bonetti managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Adalberto Vianna fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 74 minutes of play FC Dundee's Hugo Allik was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Hugo Allik kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jass Enula during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 played minutes FC Dundee got a freekick which was hit by Jass Enula. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falcão Marques in the 77th minute of play forced FC Dundee's goalkeeper Peeter Bonetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peeter Bonetti made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Adalberto Vianna sent off a good shot on target. Jass Enula kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Falcão Marques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rondinone F.C - FDFDF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. When Sten Aruväli fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Dundee's protests and gave Sten Aruväli a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd match minute, FC Dundee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Aruväli to maneuver through the defense. Peeter Bonetti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falcão Marques in the 95th minute of the match. When Falcão Marques came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Falcão Marques couldn't finish the play. Falcão Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The FC Dundee supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's performance. The match ended with a win for Rondinone F.C - FDFDF.
